According to a report in the Citrus Chronicle, “The council also gave City Manager Frank DiGiovanni the green light to return with an ordinance to raise utility rates annually an average of 2.5 percent for the next five years beginning in October. … If the council approves the 2.5 percent increase, an average residential family would see an increase of $1.53 per month.
